A Neva Masquerade is the colorpoint variety of the Siberian cat — the same core breed family buyers usually mean by “Siberian,” with a pointed coat pattern. We are talking about cats: Siberian Forest Cats and Neva Masquerade. Eagle Mountain Siberians is a TICA-registered family cattery in Eagle Mountain, Utah.
We raise Nevas here alongside our traditional Siberians. Several of our foundation queens were imported from Russia, and the kittens grow up in our home with daily family handling. The cue most people notice first is darker color on the face, ears, legs, and tail against a lighter body coat. Public guides often associate Nevas with blue eyes. Individual cats vary, so “always blue eyes” is only partial.
Siberians are often described as slow to fully mature, with a substantial coat that develops over time. Cats in the same litter can still look different as they grow. We do not promise a cat that never sheds, or a coat that stays kitten-soft.

Siberians often produce lower Fel d 1, the main cat allergen. Many allergy sufferers do better with them. Results vary from person to person. We do not call our cats hypoallergenic or allergy-free, and we do not offer a hypoallergenic guarantee. We do not guarantee how any one person will react.
